Stelvio Pass (Stilfser Joch in German), having left Switzerland via the Umbrail Pass and reentering Southern Tyrol, Italy. The Stelvio Pass is the highest paved road in the Eastern Alps and the second highest in all of the Alps, with an altitude of 2757 m (9045 feet). This road is loved by drivers, motorcyclists, and bicyclists. |
