Herder
Herder, of Groningen, The Netherlands, opening for Beastmilk (pics) and Doomriders in Munich.
Herder is one of those bands that successfully straddles the line between a few subgenres of metal, while never losing the plot. They are a rather young band that must be seen live, and, in fact, during their performance, I was nearly in disbelief about how far beyond "opener" status their performance was. This is also despite what their sometimes humorous status updates would indicate.
The attitude is overwhelmingly that of "FUCK OFF AND DIE", in print, as well as and on stage.
